Values & Beliefs
Holiness
A community dedicated to the process of sanctification and formation in Christ. To become more like Christ in all that we do, say and think. We believe these values will help guide us into being in step with the Holy Spirit.
It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. – 1 Corinthians 1:30.
What We Value
Transformed Lives
We are a community devoted to the transformation from our old selves into new life with Christ. (2 Corinthians 3:18, Romans 12:2)
Life TOgether
We value the practice of doing life with one another through the breaking of bread, and bearing one another’s joys and burdens. We believe this practice leads to deep communion with one another and with Christ (Acts 2:41-47, Colossians 3:12-14)
Integrity
Living lives of honesty and integrity come through the practice of continual confession and repentance. We desire to live a life where we continually shed our old selves and enter into the newness of Christ. (1 Peter 2:1-12)
Justice & Mercy
Being a community devoted to justice and the practicing of mercy is being an extension of the hand of God. We desire to be a fellowship of believers who stand on the side of the marginalized to be in the hard places where Christ chose to be. (Micah 6:8)
Generosity
We value the giving not only of our possessions but the giving of our time and love to one another. We desire to be a community that gives out of the abundance of what God has given us (2 Corinthians 9:12-15)
