What to expect

Weekly gatherings are essential to the larger mission of the Church. Each Sunday, we break bread and fellowship with one another, followed by praise and worship, a sermon and prayer.

what about the kids?

“At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, ‘Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?’ And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, ‘Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.’ ” – Matthew 18:1-3

Here at One City, our model of ministry is Whole Family Discipleship. We welcome all ages to our church and believe no matter the stage of life, every individual can hear and experience the Holy Spirit.

Ministry does not stop when a child needs to be attended to – as we view every task as a holy invitation to encounter God. Separate areas for the purpose of naps and/or a quiet space will be available if a parent or member needs to step out to tend to their child. Our goal will always be to equip and empower families to spread the Gospel, while also understanding the dynamics of family life

Discipleship pathways

Every follower of Christ needs to be firmly rooted in a Christ community where they can take what we learn on Sundays and discuss, ponder and practice. Here at One City, our Whole Family Discipleship model does not stop on Sundays but is continued throughout the week in smaller groups ranging from one-on-one discipling to groups as large as five. In these groups, we dive deeper into Scripture, prayer, and encouraging one another in each other’s spiritual formation, practicing the way of Jesus. If you are looking for a place to belong and also become, we invite you to reach out and join our community.

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
